Specifications

Wood is a living material, and reacts to humidity and ambient temperature. The boomerang is made in such a way as to minimize the appearance of possible deformations, but it is not possible to completely eliminate this. This emphasizes the naturalness of the product and is not a reason for complaints.

Before launching, read the instructions on How to launch a boomerang. This boomerang is not the easiest to launch. Having practical experience of launches will not be superfluous.

Launch technique and conditions

The Mega Hook model flies well both in low winds up to 1m/s and in its complete absence.

For a successful launch, you need a strong enough throw, with an inclination of about 30 degrees. Reducing the angle will result in a wider and lower flight path, but a return is possible. Increasing the angle will make the flight higher. Try not to take off too hard: the boomerang will either lose a lot of speed and will not be able to return or land from behind, sometimes far away.

The throw is carried out almost straight, i.e. at the horizon level. Increasing the height of the throw will lead to a wider flight path and short flight.

If there is wind, slightly reduce the slope, making it more vertical, and change the direction of the throw relative to the wind.
